Kerrin Lynch

Kerrin obtained the degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of Johannesburg (formerly the Rand Afrikaans University) in 1998. He went on to complete his actuarial studies, being admitted as a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries in 2006 and as a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa in 2007.

He started his career in 1999 at Alexander Forbes Financial Services in the actuarial department, providing actuarial valuation and consulting services to retirement funds. In 2000, he left the employ of Alexander Forbes to join the newly formed Deloitte & Touche Actuaries and Consultants. In 2003, Deloitte & Touche Actuaries and Consultants was sold to Fifth Quadrant Actuaries & Consultants and he joined that company in a similar capacity. Fifth Quadrant Actuaries & Consultants subsequently became Willis Towers Watson through a series of mergers and acquisitions. Kerrin left Willis Towers Watson on 31 March 2018 to join Keystone Actuarial Solutions.

For over 20 years, he has been involved in the provision of actuarial valuation and consulting services to retirement funds. He is approved as a liquidator and valuator (defined benefit, defined contribution and hybrid funds) by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority and holds a practicing certificate from the Actuarial Society of South Africa. 

Kerrin is a husband, father to 3 children, a “try-athlete”, Liverpool fanatic and an aspiring drummer.
